I got married on September 4th, 2011 and Mr. Gray was my photographer. He was very laid back and easy to work with. All of my photos are beautiful, the pictures from after our ceremony are my favorite, LOVE THESE!! I should also mention that the cost was extremely affordable and Mr. Gray was very accommodating. I can never thank you enough for capturing such awesome pictures of the most important day of my life! You were awesome and people should know about it. Two thumbs up!!
I contacted Donnie to take photographs of my daughter's marriage. It was a civil ceremony at the officiants home. I wasn't sure what he would be able to capture of the moments and I did not have any previous experience with his services. He was very professional, catching some sentimental moments during the ceremony and after. All of the photographs are beautiful. I would definetly recommend Donnie as a photographer for your next function.

He was fast, very flexible, and the end result is wonderful! We went back and forth on getting a video done, and we are SO glad we opted to go this route. I hired Donnie to take pictures at a surprise 50th birthday party. I live in Georgia but was throwing the party in Virginia and I contacted several photographers before picking Gray Area Photography. Donnie did a wonderful job. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with before, during and after the party. He was friendly to everyone and did a great job on the pictures – from capturing the look of surprise on the birthday girl’s face when she walked into the house, to candid shots of guests throughout the event, to the final posed pictures of extended family. He arrived in plenty of time and made sure he got all the shots that we wanted. His prices are reasonable and his work excellent.

Gray Area Photography filmed our holiday dance performance and we loved the clarity of the video. We had been concerned since the auditorium had very poor lighting, but the DVD was clear and we were very pleased with it. We ordered 30 copies and the price was reasonable. We also asked to have special items added to the DVD and it was done without hesitation and looked exactly as we had wanted. We plan to use them again for all our future performances and recitals.
Donnie Gray is my favorite photographer. He gets great shots and inspires you (the subject) to relax and be your natural self. He comes in and does the job very well and he's a good hang, too :) Pro!
